Who is (or was) the Jerry in Jerry's Nugget?

I was sent an e-mail from one of the leading hotels, re availability of Year of the Dragon, lucky $8 poker chips. Are these available from all Las Vegas hotels? And are they available in other denominations?

A couple of years ago your office had a story about your view of the Strip being blocked by the building of some hotel, a Westin, I believe? At any rate, was that hotel/building every completed? I don’t remember all of the details, just that your view would be blocked once the building gained height as it was constructed.

We have gone to the River Palms in Laughlin six times in the last three years. Each time we go there are fewer and fewer slots, and [fewer] table games. The downstairs is completely empty of all slots, table games and video poker: just a blank floor. I know that management keeps saying it’s going to be remodeled, but three years of this? The rooms need to be redone and the outside of the tower has peeling paint from the ground floor to the top. It looks like they are abandoning the property. Can you get the straight answer?
