One thing we noticed about South Coast is that it actually has a huge clock mounted on the outside of the building to the right of the entrance. There might have been one on the left of the entrance also, but we didn't look. This brings to mind a question ... Do any other casinos have clocks mounted either inside or outside their building?

LVA sold a Las Vegas Daily 2005 image-a-day historical calendar several years back. The June 3 image featured a beautiful enormous Old-West-style bar in 1908 and said that "The Arizona Club ... had inside the most outstanding feature ... the massive $23,000 red-mahogany main bar, made by the Brunswick-Balke-Collender Company of Chicago ... The bar will end up in the Horn Room of the Last Frontier after the club closes in 1941." Does anyone know if the bar was salvaged from the Last Frontier, or was it lost in the demolition?
