I'm planning to go to the Tropicana in July. When is it going to close and be torn down?

I looked through the archives and couldn't find this referenced: Can you purchase a day pass to pools on the Strip, for those of us who may be staying in a hotel with less then a spectacular pool?

Tell us again, if you would, about how you can look down from a spot high atop the Palms, clear down to the ground. A small area within the building?

I recently stayed at the Planet Hollywood hotel and wanted to open the window air vents so I could hear the music that plays with the Bellagio fountain show, but there was a sticker near the vents saying "moth season -- please keep vent closed." When I called the front desk, I was told that moths tend to go into the outside opening of the vents and that Bellagio and other hotels have the same problem. I've never seen or heard of this before. Is there really a moth problem?

I was at the Silverton when they closed the RV park. What are they doing with that space? I didn't see any mention of it in your list of ongoing L.V. projects. Also, I read that the Silverton was voted "Best Locals Casino." What were the criteria for that?

My daughter and I will be going to Vegas in the fall and (since we intend to play a lot of blackjack) we were wondering ... approximately how many decks of cards does the average casino have on hand at any given time? Also, how long is a deck used and what happens to it when they are done with it?

My wife and I were just in Vegas and we noticed the wizard was not in the tower in front of the Excalibur. What happened to the wizard?

I've noticed that a lot of the casinos are three-sided (i.e., six sides total), unlike most hotels in most cities I've visited, which only have a front and a back. Is there a reason why this design seems to be so popular in Las Vegas?

There are plenty of ATMs in Vegas at the casinos that charge an outrageous sum. But are there any bank ATMs on the Strip that are free or charge a dollar or two?
