I bought a commemorative brick at the Flamingo last year and was wondering if they implode it, what will happen to my brick?

I have noticed that most casinos on the strip play blackjack where they don't hit on a soft 17, yet most do hit soft 17s downtown. Why is this? And what is the difference in the odds of winning? (I usually play where they do hit the soft 17s.)

In your March 8 answer, you stated that the only two hotels left from the 1950s if the Tropicana is torn down would be the Sahara and Riviera. What about the Frontier, or is that too being demolished?

Why did Steve Wynn close his personal art gallery at the Wynn? We enjoyed it, as we do the galleries at Bellagio and the Venetian.

How old is Vegas Vic, the neon cowboy downtown? It must be at least 40 years old, because I remember hearing a rumor back in the sixties that some actor used Vic for target practice with a shotgun from a hotel window across the street. The rumor might not be true, but the sign apparently was there then.

In the movie Casino and the TV series "Las Vegas," when a customer is on a hot streak, it seems management tries very hard to distract the player by changing dealers, closing the table, or using other methods to cause the player's luck to change. Is this reflective of what actually occurs or is it just TV/movie hype?
