Do the major casinos have first-aid rooms with a nurse (or doctor) on duty?

I was wondering what is the worth of the gold nugget in the Golden Nugget hotel? And what is the history of that gold nugget (i.e., who found it, where was it found, when was it found, etc.)

National newspaper articles suggested a Las Vegas local shot and killed a Reno resident, who was staying at the hotel. The articles caught my attention, having been a guest at Harrah's a week earlier, albeit in the Mardi Gras Tower, but I haven't seen any further reports.
