I've been a fan of Peter Max's artwork since the '60s. Last week when I was in Vegas, on the monorail I overheard someone talking about a Peter Max gallery. Where is it and what does it sell?

I have some managerial experience in the gaming industry (local casinos and OTBs) and I'd love to work in Las Vegas. Are there any guidelines or secrets to getting job contacts or interviews? I'm especially interested in any special tips to get through the "weeding-out process" of resumes.

Throughout the '70s and early '80s, my parents stayed at Hopp's Motel/Apartments on Paradise. Can you tell me when Hopp's was torn down and what is located on that site now? I believe the owner's name was Warren Hopp.

Do any of the hotels in Las Vegas have heated or indoor swimming pools that are open year-round?

Is it true that they are going to tear down the Stardust hotel and casino?

Is there a particular reason that no one has a casino with a dress code? I miss that atmosphere that a dress code created.

A couple years ago, there was a big row over casinos wanting to add "private gaming salons" for the biggest whales. I remember that Nevada regulators did allow them with a variety of restrictions. The last I heard was that there were some mixed results and the casinos were not having the success they had hoped for. Do these salons still exist? What's the latest on them?

When the Mirage was being built I heard that someone owning a house on the site refused to sell; I understand the house it still there — is this true?

Whiskey Pete’s Casino in Primm has a name which evokes the old west, yet the facade of the place is a medieval castle. Was it previously named something else?

Do the casinos have "cloak rooms" where people can check their coats during the cold weather months? We'll be in Vegas mid-December and hope not to have to lug our coats around.
