What is up with that stretch of the east side of Las Vegas Boulevard between Park Avenue and Harmon Avenue across from CityCenter? It's so sad looking. Are there any plans to develop any of those sad storefronts and motel into something deserving of such an amazing location?

I was curious how and why the Fremont Street Experience developed into what it is today?
