After a recent successful craps table outing on the Strip I cashed in several large denomination "checks"- often erroneously referred to as "chips." I was wondering how many counterfeiters attempt to defraud the casinos and how many are successful. The checks themselves must be costly to manufacture. Can you tell me more about casino checks?

Now that the Tropicana has been sold, where does that leave the proposed mall addition and what’s happening with the glass ceiling in the casino that they were going to remove? Also, do you think the effect of the sale will make the Trop more like M Resort, or the other way around? Las Vegas has thousands of hotel rooms that typically provide some level of personal care items such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc. Each day these single use containers go into the hotel trash. Is there any effort to recycle the discarded plastics generated by the hotel industry in Las Vegas?

Can you clarify exactly what is being done at the CalNeva at Lake Tahoe? When will the rehabbed casino reopen? Exactly what was redone, will there be a showroom and, if so, what kind of acts do they plan to present? What dining choices will be available? How big will the casino on the Nevada side be?

I know the Plaza and the Las Vegas Club shared their players club points, but what other casinos downtown do the same?

Recently I stayed at the M Resort and was baffled by its existence. Why would a smart man who, according to Wikipedia was involved in the building of Caesars Palace and The Bellagio, think a huge resort would succeed in that remote location?
