I am interested in knowing how the sponsership for the WSOP works. I noticed the winner, Joe Cada, prior to the Final 9 break, was wearing Ultimate Bet logos and then after the 3-month break, came back wearing PokerStars. I have to imagine that the sponsership offer from Pokerstars must have trumped Ultimate Bet's offer. I would have thought that Joe Cada might have some obligation to Ultimate Bet since he was originally wearing their gear. Please elaborate.

I was watching an re-run of the TV show "Las Vegas" and they went to a pancake house that was topless. Does a place like that really exist in Vegas?

I read a little mention in our local newspaper about a big gun park that just opened in Las Vegas. Is this some sort of tourist attraction? Or is there really a 3,000-acre shooting range in the city?

I am thinking of accepting an invitation for New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas. I understand that many shows go on hiatus around the holidays. Is there a place where I can find out which shows will be off of their normal schedules around NYE? I am especially interested in the kind of shows that Arnold Snyder reviews in his book, which I have found to be invaluable, even though I do not agree 100% with his evaluations. Even though I have been visiting Las Vegas for decades, this would be my first NYE in LV, and I would hate for poor planning on my part to interfere with maintaining a high SPW during my visit.
