We're coming out to Las Vegas on Christmas Day and staying through till Saturday 29th. I plan on asking my girlfriend to marry me and giving her the ring. Are there any über-romantic shows, or sites in Vegas where she could feel like the star she is? I've called a couple of shows to see if they would help me pop the question and I got a cold shoulder.

Your answer to the question on beer consumption at casinos made me wonder if they recycle all of that glass and aluminum or just throw it out with the rest of the trash. How recycling-sensitive are the hotel-casinos in general?

I've eaten at the Cafe Bleu restaurant and am wondering if there are any other culinary schools in Vegas that also have a restaurant? I've heard of the Culinary Institue Academy in North Las Vegas. Does it have a restaurant? If so, when is it open and can you tell me anything about the menu they offer?

I know there are many fine dining experiences available in town for dinner, but most are not open for lunch. What restaurants offer an "upscale" lunch?
