In your Question of the Day on 10/3/2016, the one about the ladies’ room at the Fremont, you wrote that QoD is now an "all-male province." What happened to long-time QoD-answerer Jessica? And You said that Jessica is gone from the QOD and now it's all male. Too bad. I enjoyed her humor and wit. I'm looking forward to seeing what the new person brings to the column. And My husband and I are going to miss Jessica. We loved her off-the-wall asides and detours to Quirkyland. Her answers were the perfect combination of extensive research and fun.

Today's question on the Wizard of Oz (9/17/2016) brought to mind another answer that compared Las Vegas with other cities through history. I tried searching for it, but I couldn't find it. Or did I imagine it? If not, would you rerun it? Other readers might enjoy reading it again or for the first time.

Can you tell me if crime in Las Vegas for the past five years has gone up or down? Can you list the percentage of crimes: murder, robbery, rape, burglary, stealing (purse snatching, pickpockets, and store thefts), casino cheating, and prostitution? I know that this is a lot to ask, but I think your readers would like to know the answers.

Back from where I come from (New York), all the fire trucks are red. So, I was surprised to see yellow trucks when I first moved here six years ago. The other day, I noticed a red fire truck, which I thought unusual for here, and was wondering if the two different colors each indicate something different. Can you fill me in on this?

A few years ago the Las Vegas Review-Journal tried a big money grab, suing people for copyright infringements. I have not heard anything more about this in quite a while. Considering the circumstances, it seems they might have been the target of an enormous number of lawsuits. Do you have any updates, and did all the bad publicity hurt their circulation/advertising, etc.?

My husband and I were in Vegas when the rains came. We could not believe the water that was like a river coming from the parking garage of the Linq. Can you explain why?

Why was there not a word written in the QOD about the two people jumping into the Venetian canal? There was a blurb on the Internet and on TV but very little as a total. Did the Venetian (Sands Corp.) hush everything up? Would like to know what happened from a local standpoint and how the two people are right now. Original report had them as "critical."

Is it true you're the longest-staying guest in the history of the Rio (as per @LVA_Tweet? If so, please provide some juicy details!
