Today's the second anniversary of Question of the Day. Happy anniversary to us -- and to all the faithful readers out there in QoDland who've helped keep this feature going, with great questions, excellent input (especially those updates), and good vibes all around. In honor, then, of our 730th Q&A in a row, we're opening up the archives and will keep them open for a whole week, so everyone can explore the back catalog and see all the great stuff you might have missed. And please drop us a note with your vote for your favorite QoD of all time. As is our wont, we'll compile and post your responses soon, with updated answers where appropriate. Thanks!

I heard a mini-Las Vegas just opened in California. Do you know what it is and where it is? And is it open to the public?

How many questions do you have on file? Are there any questions that are unanswerable and if so, is there anywhere we can see these questions or any of the questions that you are working on?

Back on 02/25, we ran a QoD featuring the Stardust reminiscences of LVA staff and associated. We asked for your feedback and as usual, plenty of you have responded with your memories, good and otherwise, of this soon-to-be-imploded Las Vegas landmark. Here they are.

Do QoDers, LVAers, or friends of LVA have any special memories of the Stardust?

How does one get a job with the Las Vegas Advisor -- doing the research for the questions submitted?

I know the Top 10 Values has been a feature of the LVA since 1983, but would like to know what bargains were included on the original list?

It's always fun to get a little inside peek at the way things are done at the Advisor, like your answer about Anthony Curtis and the prime rib survey. How about a Deke Castleman story? I'm sure he's got a few to tell. Thanks.

What do you guys do for New Year's Eve? Do you go down to the Strip? Are there private parties? Do you hide from the festivities and go to bed at 9:30? I'm curious about how people who've lived in Las Vegas for a long time and know it so well celebrate the new year.
