Pawn Plaza is losing all their shops. I can only guess it's due to not enough foot traffic. Or do you know something we don't?

I recently stayed at the Flamingo, and used their self-check-in kiosk, which was awesome! Less than five minutes to check in. Why don't MGM Resorts and other properties offer this? I have spent hours standing in line at the MGM and Mirage when I could have been gambling.

I was with visiting friends staying at Vdara and when walking through Aria noticed the big Buddha statue at the north valet entrance. There were coins left on the statue and pedestal, similar to those tossed in a fountain, but there were also a number of TITO vouchers for small amounts tucked into the arms and legs. I know coins left in fountains are usually donated to charity, but what happens with slot vouchers, in light of NRS 463.369 mandating all unclaimed vouchers escheat to the State of Nevada? Are all those well-intentioned folks leaving alms for Buddha, just giving their money to Nevada general fund, or is that money separated out?

Le Reve has been a Las Vegas favorite for years. Is it in danger of closing any time soon?

Is at all possible to have an out of town drivers license and get a local drivers license (using a Post Office address) without surrendering your out of town license. If so is, it legal? Also how about getting a local I.D, if you don’t drive? I use to come out to Vegas six or seven times a year, but now that there are so many casino opening up all over the place it’s down to three or four times a year (but I still consider Vegas my second home). Anyway the reason for all of this is that the locals get a big advantage on discounts all over the city especially on the new parking-lot charges.

When will Boyd Gaming take over Eastside Cannery? Will they rebrand it or just leave it as it is?

This is my second request. I am a long time Vegas visitor who has always rented a car. I have been checking for over two months now and prices are up substantially. Why? And please don't feed me the convention excuse, because I have tried multiple weeks with multiple outlets!

Speaking about casino/hotels diversifying, has any corporation given any serious thought to medical tourism, like adding plastic surgery to the spa services? Would you rather recover in a nasty hospital or in a luxury suite with a private nurse? Which would actually cost less? Just add a light surgical wing to the spa. The big guys already have hospital wings they support.

Is there anything left of "old" Vegas? Where you would wear suits and cocktail dresses in the evening to go to a show and gamble, reminiscent of the "Rat Pack" and before. I'm nostalgic for a time that I missed.

All the recent talk of Caesars' history made me think about the original Bacchanal feast. Not the buffet many know today -- it was a multi-course dinner, where wine goddesses poured wine, fed you grapes, and gave little massages. Any menus or pictures?
