While Howard Hughes is credited for helping to create the modern-day Las Vegas, he's also known for being a recluse. But what of some of the other notable casino owners of the '70s and '80s, also credited with putting their stamp on Sin City: Bob Stupak; Steve Wynn; Benny and Jack Binion; Jackie Gaughan -- did these successful men interact with one another during the 1980s, or were they simply rivals?

When was there passenger-train service to Las Vegas, and where was the terminal?

The Plaza seems to be making great efforts to attract more patrons. One of the long-desired upgrades hoped for by many is an overhaul of the pool area. Now that it seems to be in the works, what can you tell us about the plans, and more importantly, when it will be completed?

You’re always posting whether gambling win was up or down, but what about non-gaming aspects, like total hotel take (including percentage of income from resort fees), etc.? With 130,000 rooms or so, is there a breakdown of total revenue that lists a number like $10 million to $15 million a day in room income, or whatever it may be?

Is there an organization that checks that the casino offerings are legit? I always wonder when they offer a chance to spin and win from five to 1,000,000 points, if there is there even a 1,000,000-points-prize possibility, or if it's actually a pre-determined "scam"?

Can you give us a rundown on the interesting Super Bowl prop bets this year? I'm interested in the National Anthem prop, in particular.

Driving around town I see a lot of vanity plates (OMGIML8 yesterday prompted this question). Are there any statistics on the percentage of vanity plates here? It seems like there are more here than any place else I've been.
