I have to admit after reading about Binion and the horse statute in your recent QOD we went down to visit South Point Casino on our last trip. That complex is huge. When viewing the statue I smelled horses. My wife and I followed the smell to the South Point Arena and ended up spending several hours watching a horse jumping show! It was an enjoyable event. Can you tell us more about their arena and shows?

I noticed there are a lot of trails in the Anthem section of the valley (most southern part of Eastern Avenue). Are these hiking trails? Are they popular? Are they safe?

After reading the recent QoD about HOV [carpool] lanes, I have another driving-related question: If a school bus stops on the other side of a road with a median divider, does Nevada law require that you stop? There seems to be some confusion among drivers, including this one!

I found an old Holiday Casino players card from the '80s that states on the back "Carry it at all times, presenting it every time you play at a gaming table or dollar slots and above to ensure you are properly rated and given the special treatment you deserve." When and how did player tracking evolve on a wide scale? There were not card readers back then so how extensive was the manual effort?

Why don’t Las Vegas (or Nevada) casinos offer pull tabs? They're HUGE here in Minnesota -- every bar and most Native American casinos have them. Is there a regulation against pull tabs in Nevada?

Is it true that the money winners during the National Finals Rodeo get paid each night in cash? I would think that would make the casinos happy. Just curious. Thanks.

When the express lanes on I-15 started I heard that it was legal to enter or exit at any point, unlike in California. Not having a death wish, I usually stay off of I-15. However, I recently noticed that the lane markings have changed. Does this mean that the law has changed?

Back from where I come from (New York), all the fire trucks are red. So, I was surprised to see yellow trucks when I first moved here six years ago. The other day, I noticed a red fire truck, which I thought unusual for here, and was wondering if the two different colors each indicate something different. Can you fill me in on this?
