Gold Strike casino's website says it features a 24-hours buffet, every day. Are there any other 24-hour buffets in Las Vegas? Why would it be that more buffets do not stay open around the clock?

Was there any connection between the Royal Nevada (1950s), Royal Las Vegas (now known as Royal Resort, 99 Convention Center Dr.) and the Royal Inn (most recently known as the Clarion, 305 Convention Center Dr., which was just demolished)? I find it strange that all three addresses were within a half-mile of each other and at least two of them were open at the same time.
