Is there any truth to the rumor that Hooters Casino Hotel will be rebranded as a Holiday Inn? Also, I hear that their restaurant is the busiest Hooters in the U.S. - true?

Was there any connection between the Royal Nevada (1950s), Royal Las Vegas (now known as Royal Resort, 99 Convention Center Dr.) and the Royal Inn (most recently known as the Clarion, 305 Convention Center Dr., which was just demolished)? I find it strange that all three addresses were within a half-mile of each other and at least two of them were open at the same time.

Haven’t heard much lately about bedbugs. Are they under control in Vegas?

I am a huge fan of out-of-the way, unique places to eat (any type of food is OK); do you have a list where I can find some new places, preferably off the Strip, i.e., where the locals go? Thanks.

I know that non-MGM casinos in Las Vegas can't show the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight on May 2. However, I heard that local Vegas bars may show the fight. Do you know of any that consistently shows pay-per-view fights?
