It was announced that The Cromwell will open on May 21st, so I checked out their website today. I was surprised that their casino floor included a section called 'The Abbey,' which is described as a reserved area with three table games. The room can be curtained-off for privacy – perfect for high-profile guests. In light of a recent incident where the Nevada Gaming Control Board filed a complaint against Aria for blocking two state gaming agents from observing wagering activity in the casino's high-limit area, it appears that such a 'reserved' gaming area with curtains would be a violation of Nevada's law to ensure that the public has access to gaming. Do you expect the GCB would be concerned about gaming occurring behind a curtain? Do other casinos have similar 'private' gaming areas to appeal to their high-profile guests?

I have just spent many frustrating hours trying to co-ordinate my gambling log and the win-loss statements I’ve received from casinos where I played in 2013. I am so confused. None of the numbers on these statements match up with my own very detailed records. What figures should I use on my federal income tax return?

Driving in from Bakersfield, close to the Cali-Nevada line, there’s what I’m sure is a huge solar-power installation. I’ve seen other such projects in the Southwest, but this one seems to use mirrors instead of collectors, and tall towers stand in the center of the fields. I suppose I could Google it, but I’m sure lots of other people have the same question: What kind of plant is it?

On a recent "Bar Rescue," they rescued the first gay bar to ever open in Las Vegas named Gipsy. At the end of the show the owner didn’t like the changes and three days later closed the bar. Who pays for all the renovation costs and what happens when an owner decides he knows more than expert Jon Taffer and either changes the bar back, or in this case, closes the doors forever?
