What is the industrial site north of Las Vegas beside I-15, just before you reach the junction with the Bruce Woodbury Beltway? When I stayed at Aliante Casino and drove that way I noticed a significant amount of activity that involved the Union Pacific railroad. Is it a quarry of some sort?

Regarding the recent 10-year anniversary of The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, wasn't there an issue with the ownership of the name? Did someone else have rights to the name? If so, what was the end result for Caesars to get the rights to the name The Colosseum?

In Vegas last week, I took a cab from Bally's to the Marriott Grand Chateau by the MGM. The driver was going along the backside of Bally's, when a woman tried to flag him down, unaware he had a fare. He stopped, got out of the cab, and told her he had a fare, but asked where she was going. She was going the other direction, but another couple behind her said they were going to the Hard Rock hotel, which was in the direction we were going, so he picked them up!!! Isn't that illegal? He was basically double dipping because he got a full fare from me and a full fare from the other two. I didn't know these people and honestly, I thought it was skeevy of him to add two other passengers to my ride. I didn't get the driver's name or license but after thinking about it, it seems wrong to pick up "side" fares.

I was wondering what the status of the Blue Angel is. Isn't it due to be taken down? She is one of my favorite things to go by and see. I make my sisters ride the bus that goes by her every time we visit your wonderful city.

Regarding the recent fire at Key Largo on March 28, according to the link on "8 News Now," it is stated that the fire is estimated to have caused $4.5 million in damages. How? It's just a dilapidated eyesore now and the land itself has to be the only thing worth anything … so where on earth did the $4.5 million come from?

Do they still have the "buffet of buffets" or all day buffet passes?
