We used to love staying at the Key Largo casino. It was a small and friendly place and it was sad when it closed, now even sadder to see it neglected. Can you please tell me what is to become of the site it is on, if anything? We will be back in Vegas in September.

While I was watching the "LVH" letters go up on the huge outdoor sign outside the LVH last week, I thought back to when the sign was first erected for the Las Vegas Hilton. I vaguely remember that the first sign was supposed to be the largest in the city--or maybe the world. Shortly thereafter, that sign blew over in a fierce windstorm, and it had to be rebuilt. The question: Is the sign outiside the LVH the same size and height as the original Las Vegas Hilton sign that blew down about two decades ago, or did they reduce the size when they rebuilt it?

Who or which company is credited with developing the first video poker system? When and where was it first available to the public? What was the coin denomination to play?

Seems like the Stardust has been closed long enough that Boyd Gaming should have done the one day casino gig like Trailer Station. Have I just missed it, or is it covered by some other rule?

I drove past a motel sign on the center divider of Las Vegas Blvd. near El Cortez. I think it said "Elvis slept here." Was that motel anything special and did Elvis really sleep there? I wish I had caught the motel name but I was driving and apparently I'm not good with multi-tasking :-(

If I remember correctly The Fitz had a hunk of the Blarney stone on the second floor near some slot machines. It was supposed to be lucky. It wasn't - I patted the d@#& thing and then lost 25 cents in the slot machine next to it. Anyway, now that The Fitz is The "D", what happened to that hunk of rock? Or was it all blarney and the rock is now part of somebody's landscaping?

For years I kept seeing a sign for something called "Poker Battle" on a building just off the I-15 and wondered what it was. I read about it being a poker social networking community or some such. I just drove by again this week and the building is finally re-branded-now suddenly selling BBQ or patio equipment or something. What is/was Poker Battle and what happened to it?

Usually when my wife and I go to Vegas its for shows but I thought maybe we could spend a day catching up on the latest movies. Do any of the casinos on the Strip have movie theaters in them?

At CityCenter there was a building that was not constructed safely and not occupied. To the best of my memory it was the Harmon. The last I heard was that it would be imploded or repaired but again I have not heard or seen if a decision has been made. An update should be interesting.

So … is the sidewalk closed on the IP/Flamingo side of the street or not? If it's closed, how is one to traverse from Harrah's down to the other Caesars properties (Paris-LV, Bill’s, Flamingo, Imperial Palace)?
