Sitting waiting for the Bills game to start, I'm watching a program called "Vegas Strip." It's about Metro police in action on the Strip. I think the police are real but what about the perps and victims? They do not block the faces of these people. Do they need their okay to use their faces or is it all acting? The clips I watched had, among other things, a man arrested for hitting a police horse and another man claiming to be pregnant with dinosaur eggs. The program was on the ACTN Channel from 11:00AM until 2:00PM, EST in 1/2-hour segments. Are these real or a setup?

While I was in Las Vegas last weekend, for the gay PRIDE events, I was told that there is no wedding chapel in Las Vegas that will perform same-gender commitment ceremonies? It's hard for me to believe. Could it be true?

I read an article in USA Today awhile ago stating that Kobe beef was a product that only could be raised in a specific part of Japan and was only licensed to be sold in two countries outside of Japan. The article stated that the USDA has not licensed Kobe beef in the US (health standards?) and therefore it's not available to be sold or purchased here, hence, anything sold here as Kobe beef is therefore an imitation. But I see it advertised and offered here all the time and have even purchased a Kobe burger. You mention it often in the LVA in your reviews of restaurants (last issue on the sushi place, for example). So, what's up? Are we being ripped off with high pieces for fake product?

We will be in Las Vegas in November and would like to know where the American Ninja Competition took place and is it open to tourists?

Has there been any recall of Las Vegas Hilton checks? I have about $50 in $1 and $5 checks and I heading up in October. Just want to know if it's worth a trip to the LVH to turn them in.
