When I started reading about Vegas I had wanted to go to the Reserve Hotel & Casino, that later became the Fiesta Henderson. I made it out there just after it had changed to FH. The Reserve sign was still in the parking lot and the hotel rooms were still jungle-themed. It seemed like such a cool gimmick. Can you give the history of the Reserve and who owned it.

Just returned from a trip to the Palms. With the pending closure of the Playboy Club, what will happen to the Playboy store at the ground level of the Fantasy Tower? Also, will they be removing the bunny from the Fantasy tower? Has there been any update on what they will turn the club space into? Enjoy all the QODs. Thanks.

I have a bunch of chips I forgot to cash in before I left town. I called the three casinos that I had chips from and two said that it was against the law for them to buy via mail and one said "no problem". Is there a law preventing a casino from buying my chips back through the mail?

I hate to see the old buildings of Vegas go under (especially when it's a "first" of something.) So when I was out the other night taking some shots of the White Cross while I still could, I was wondering if you guys knew anything more about the place, about its past, about what happened, about the future of the building and of Tiffany's? In your QoD about "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign, there was no mention of the fact that the sign has been moved south more than once -- as stated in a recent article in Los Angeles Times. What was the original location of the sign and when/where was it shifted?

A recent question had to do with doughnuts and bakeries, so now help out those of us who also desire baked goods, but are on gluten-free diets. Are there any gluten-free bakeries in Las Vegas?

Your April 30 QOD response mentioning "Casino Diaries" got me thinking about Las Vegas-based reality shows. For a while there, it seemed that every cable and network channel had a show ("Las Vegas," "The Defenders," "American Casino," etc.), but now, except for the show about the Las Vegas jail and "CSI," they have all but disappeared. I doubt it's due to a lack of stories available, so was it just overload?

There is a lot of speculation that the four new casinos opening in Ohio may cause major losses in revenue for the three Detroit casinos, as the new Hollywood Casino in Toledo, Ohio is only 60 miles from Detroit. What do you think?

I have read in various Las Vegas history books about how the Mob would bury people in the desert. With all the expansion in the valley over the years, has a Mob buried body ever been unearthed during construction of houses? If so, what part of town was the Mob’s favorite burial ground?
