Could it have been true in the past and not now? When I visit a city like Atlanta it sure seems there are more there than Las Vegas.

Are there any indoor pools open to the public? I realize that for most of the year, outdoor pools are usable (especially the heated ones), never the less I like to exercise by swimming laps and that is not possible during the winter. I am aware of a few casino spas (e.g., Red Rock) that permit non-hotel guests to use their lap pool for a fee, but that list seems to frequently change.
