On one trip to Vegas, we walked from the Luxor to the Union Plaza, going Las Vegas Boulevard to Fremont Street. Can anyone tell me how far this would be?

In reference to the recent QoD, what is the whereabouts of Norbert Jansen and is he still involved in the casino industry?

My husband and I are here in Las Vegas this week for our 5th anniversary (married at the Little Chapel of the Flowers) and it has pretty much rained since we arrived on the 10th. It's a bit scary what with flash floods and huge lightning and all, but still an amazing display of the power of nature. My question - is this weather normal for the season? How often DOES it rain, and how many days in a row? What do locals do during storms? In the northeast, we don't really do any thing different except avoid 'puddling', not flash floods.

What do you think is the likely future of the North Strip area? Not just in the next 2-3 years, but beyond that? Has it got such a bad name now that it’s in terminal decline or do you think it will experience a revival -- and why?

What’s the story behind the changing scores in the USC/Utah game last week and how did the sports books handle it?

There has been a lot of talk about the Plaza lately - the rooms, dining area, and casino. But I have not heard anything about the pool they have on the top floor. Is anything new happening there or is it "out of sight, out of mind"?

A while back you stated they were filming or about to film a new Las Vegas movie. Have they filmed it yet? Does it have a name and who is starring in it?

What was the name of the long ago strip property located near the Monte Carlo that had a large clown on the front of the building and behind the clown's head was either a ferris wheel or a roller coaster with characters riding in it? This property no longer exists.

Why do you suppose there are no nudist resorts in Vegas? A club used to exist in Sandy Valley but it didn't qualify to even be callled a dump.

On May 28th this year, you responded to my QoD and said this: "The Park predates the current writer's first visit to Las Vegas by almost a decade, but it apparently was a hotel-casino that formerly occupied the plot at 300 N. Main Street which, today, is part of Main Street Station. The Park existed only from 1987-1990 and could perhaps be the subject of a future QoD in its own right...." Any further thoughts?
