I watched a television show on cable about Las Vegas and gambling. Anthony Curtis was on it and someone was talking about players, sometimes called "customers" or "clients," that pay others to play for them (blackjack, video poker, craps, roulette, etc.). Over the years I've learned to play perfect video poker and would like to get in on this. Can you give me more information about this?

In 2003 we went to an afternoon show in the "igloo" outside of Lady Luck Casino. It was an awesome variety show called The Walkers. I believe it was a woman and her 2 or 3 brothers. Similar to the Scintas show. We met them after the show and were very surprised to learn that they were from our hometown of Butler, PA. In 2004 we returned to take friends to see this fun show and it was gone. We asked at the front desk, the concierge, and even the valets, and nobody had ever heard of them! We couldn't believe that not one employee remembered them or their great show. Do you know or could you find out what ever happed to The Walkers? Thank you in advance for researching our question. I will be visiting Las Vegas May 8th-12th. I was supposed to meet up with a couple of my dearest friends but due to unforeseen circumstances, they can no longer make the trip. In your April 27, 2011 QOD, you told us that there would be 80 additional taxis added for a big fight night. I searched the archives and didn't find any statistics on how many taxis are in Vegas, how many are typically on the road during peak vs. off peak times, etc. I'm curious what percent of the total taxis the 80 represent.

Any idea what happened to the power at Bally's last Saturday, 4/23? We were crossing over the strip from Bellagio and all the lights on the Bally's property were dark.

How far in advance do you get word from the Palms as to their schedule for Playmate signings? For example, they seem to usually do the weekend in the middle of each month. Any idea if they'll do that for PMOY and PMOM on May 13-14 following the PMOY announcement weekend on May 6-7? Same question for subsquent months. Would like to have a chance to plan travel to coincide if they do it on a regular schedule.

How's this for morbid curiosity? Today's News mentioned a jumper at Cosmo. All cities play their suicide numbers close to the vest for good reason, but do you have any idea what Vegas' numbers are, both total and in relation to other cities? Are many of them really tourists or is that just a popular myth? How many are hotel jumpers?

I was looking at an aerial view of Las Vegas and noticed that the Hilton had a couple of swimming pools on their roof. Are these pools exclusively for high rollers? And how many other casinos have rooftop pools or pools not for the general public?
