Everyone knows the iconic symbol of old Las Vegas, Vegas Vic on Fremont Street. Right across from him, is it "Vegas Vicky" or "Sassy Sally"? I have heard both stated and have read in the Las Vegas newspapers both names. Which is correct?

One day we went to the Silverton Casino for lunch, only to find that their Buffet was closed. Another day, we stopped by the Stratosphere for lunch, and found their Buffet closed. What happened? The Consumer Electronics Show took place last month (Jan 7-10). I have attended this conference in the past and was wondering how large the attendance was this year? For many years, the last full week before Thanksgiving was always COMDEX week. I attended several of those from the late ‘90s through its final year in 2003. In its heyday it had quite an effect on room rates and shows. At its peak I think the attendance exceeded 200,000. I was curious, was that the largest convention Las Vegas (or maybe anywhere else) has ever had?
