I read an article a while back about a whisper around Las Vegas that some casinos were thinking of bring the coin-in/coin-out slots and video poker machines back. Was that just some old Las Vegas ghost or is there some truth to it? Sure do miss those machines and the pleasure we had playing them.

As has been discussed on this site, Las Vegas is losing many of its traditional casino coffee shops. Even quite a few of those still around have given up on 24/7. On my last visit to Las Vegas, I took a chance and popped into a family restaurant called BLUEBERRY HILL on Flamingo, just East of The Strip. I enjoyed a delicious gourmet omelette together with by far the best pancakes I have had in ages. What can you tell us about this chain of family restaurants?

Manuel Corchuelo's 700-sq-ft home in Naked City was for sale in 2005 for $1.2 mil; I was wondering what ever happened to him or his property? Can't find anything about him since 2005.

Back in the mid-'70s I remember watching a game show called "Dealer's Choice." The show consisted of three contestants betting on various games of chance including a version of Blackjack. Whichever contestant had the most 'chips' at the end got to go on to the Bonus Dice round where they could win a nice prize such as a car or an exotic vacation. I also seem to remember the show originated from The Tropicana and was filmed there. Can you dig up any more info or trivia on "Dealer's Choice"?

I realize this is a bit trivial, but ... a news item on your web site on 4/7 mentioned an accident on I-95. I-95 runs from Miami, FL, to Houlton, ME. The road you (and many others, including "major" media sources) refer to is US95. Any idea why so many in southern Nevada are confused on this (or is it me?).

This is a follow-up to the QOD last week (4/2/10) about using more than one free lodging offer at the same time. In the past, I've booked myself into two hotels on the same dates and gone back and forth between them with no consequences and no remorse. However, I would like to use a free lodging comp for some visiting friends (in Tunica). The only caveat on the offer is, "Offer exclusively for (me)." This doesn't seem to preclude my checking in, giving the front desk my credit card, then turning the keys over to my friends. Am I wrong about this? I have a feeling if I call the hotel (Harrah's in Tunica) and ask, they'll say I can't do it. But I don't really see why not and your answer last week seems to confirm that. However, will I soon be receiving guests from the county jail if I do this?

What exactly is a casino host and how does one go about getting one?

Several months ago, a multi-million dollar slot winner in Florida was denied payment. The casino cited a malfunction. Now this week in Colorado, a woman was denied $42MM+, again citing equipment malfunction. What is going on? I am interested in knowing how often and where (specific casinos) these malfunctions occur. I am sure this will not be a popular question for casinos, or if they will even share the information.
