It’s been a few months since we heard about Star Trek: The Experience moving to downtown Vegas. Any new info for us Trekkies?

Back in October 2008 on LVA’s blackjack-tournament message boards, Anthony Curtis made mention of an upcoming QoD about early tournament teams to clear up the long-standing confusion as to whether A.C. and WSOP Champion Russ Hamilton had been on the same team. Whatever became of that? It's been three months. Are there really that many Qs in the queue that it hasn't come up yet?

Fitzgeralds downtown seems to be in a state of limbo. They say a new owner is taking over soon. The gift shop is not allowed to restock and that’s since October ’08. Who owns Fitzgeralds now? Did Don B lose it?

On your Question of the Day 12-28-08 about the Peppermill, I would like to offer the following: The question really shouldn't just apply to the Peppermill. There are many businesses along the Strip that occupy land every bit as valuable as the Peppermill’s. I have always wondered how some of these low-class shops could justify their annual profits, compared to what they would have out of the land value selling it. Simply put, the question is, "How can so many low-class businesses justify their profit versus what they would get selling the land to a entity who would upgrade the land into something worthwhile?"
