Are any of the pools in the strip hotels open to non-resident guests or locals?

Living in Michigan I only get to Vegas once a year every October religiously. I am new to your Advisor so reading it brings me a new question. Most of the offers you highlight require you to sign up for the players club card to get the great offers. What if you already hold that casinos player club card are you still entitled to the special promotions? Visiting every year I already have most cards for the casinos I like. Am I still entitled to the Hooters new promo?

We have been visiting Las Vegas every year since 1982 and always stay at the Imperial Palace. Only for the last three years were we aware that they had a Medical Center. Since we seem to get sick every time we visit, we have been frequent patients at the center. However, this past May when we visited, we found it is no longer there. Do you know where there are any other casino Medical Centers?

In the June issue of the Las Vegas Advisor, you say that the name of the Joe Pesci character in the movie Casino was Tommy DeVito. I haven't seen the movie in a while, but I could have sworn that Joe Pesci's character was named Nicky Santoro.

I've seen somewhere that there are Segway tours in Las Vegas. Do these tours exist and if so, do you feel they're a good deal?

We were in Vegas recently (5/1 - 5/5) and had several cab drivers try to take us on round-about ways to get to our destination. Luckily, we have been to Vegas enough times to know the difference. One got very angry when we insisted he not take the highway from MGM to the Venetian. How often does this happen and what can someone do about it?

My wife and I greatly miss Siegfried and Roy. We attended their shows for decades, starting at the Frontier in the '80s, and we saw them many times at the Mirage. We were always amazed at how fresh the show seemed each time, with new animals and an intensity like they were performing for the first time. But who are Siegfried and Roy? Is there any information on their backgrounds and early experiences?

From time to time in the LVA, you use the word "metaresort" when describing the big new projects like CityCenter and Echelon Place. There's no such word in the dictionary and when I looked it up online, all I found were articles by Anthony Curtis that contained the word. Since it seems like you guys are the only ones using it, can you tell me exactly what it means?
