In your Question of the Day on compulsive gambling (QoD 12/4/07), you missed a strange new development concerning the disease, namely, the apparent connection between impulse-control disorders and Parkinson’s disease. Perhaps you can run an update on this connection?

I’m not interested in investing in a single gambling stock. I don’t want to have all my investment eggs in one casino basket. Are there any mutual funds that spread the eggs around into lots of baskets?

The Question of the Day about Old Vegas brought back memories of another attraction in the area. What is the story of Las Vegas Down racetrack? I remember that it was closed down the first time I visited Las Vegas in 1984. I also remember advertisements in greyhound racing magazines announcing the re-opening in 1991. Whatever happened?

I remember reading your history of the Stardust and now that it’s gone, do you think that Caesars takes its place as having the most sordid past of all the Las Vegas casinos? And if you do, how about telling us about it?

Several years ago a contest was held in Las Vegas and the winner received a house that was a replica of the Simpsons' home. What became of that house? I've never seen it listed as a tourist attraction.
