We're headed to Las Vegas the 4th of July weekend - we thought it was really hopping there then, but cannot seem to find any details of events on the Internet. In fact, there seem to be less events than normal that weekend. What goes on the weekend of the 4th and will there be fireworks somewhere?

On the series "Las Vegas," there was a scene where Ed Deline (James Caan) treated his distant relative to breakfast after his break-up with a sly con artist of a fiance. At this restaurant the wait staff consisted of topless and almost bottomless (un)dressed women. Does any such establishment exist in Las Vegas or is this purely Hollywood fantasy?

What's up with all the different kinds of video poker games? I swear, everytime I turn around, there's a new name I've never seen before. There was a shrine (not sure what kind) at Caesars Palace for years which was donated by someone (duh!) and I think it was supposed to always face east and I think Caesars said they would never move it. Since the huge addition onto the front of Caesars, has the shrine been moved or removed completly? Where did it go? Thanks!

In 1967 I worked briefly in Las Vegas and the Hacienda was the extreme south end of the Strip. Now it's difficult to remember exactly where it was, and how far south the Strip has grown. Do you have any interesting information on the southward expansion of the Strip over the decades?
