I sure missed a once in a lifetime opportunity in 1958 while I lived in Las Vegas. I was offered to buy land way out on Flamingo Road, but I didn't do so. I also heard that some land out away from the city was going for $5 an acre. I sometimes stay at hotels that don't have workout or health-club facilities. Are there local health clubs within close proximity to the Strip or downtown (drive, cab, walk) that allow visitors to purchase either a one-day or one-week pass? How about the amenities -- showers, towels, etc.?
