When was there passenger-train service to Las Vegas, and where was the terminal?

Now that the Tropicana has been sold, where does that leave the proposed mall addition and what’s happening with the glass ceiling in the casino that they were going to remove? Also, do you think the effect of the sale will make the Trop more like M Resort, or the other way around? (e.g., Will M reintroduce a resort fee or might the Tropicana follow M’s lead and ditch theirs? We can only hope!) I know the two properties now share a shuttle, but what other changes/integration might we expect?

While viewing the Las Vegas Arena webcam, I noticed that all the parking stalls on the roof of New York-New York were full. Is the garage full during the week even before the project is complete? If so, how is MGM going to handle the extra cars once the arena and park are completed?

What percentage of fares are picked up by cabs at the airport compared to the amount picked up from the Strip/Fremont street? Are Uber cars allowed to pick up at the airport and, if so, how does one call for one?

What is your take on locals using hotel valets for long term (seven-14 days) while on vacation? Seems like parking at a hotel and then a short cab ride to McCarran is an economical solution to going to the airport.
