We will be in Vegas for New Year's Eve. Is is true that they close the Strip to traffic that night?

Is the construction of I-215 completed? Would I be able to take it from the airport to Santa Fe Station and get there faster than going through I-15?

I'm coming to Las Vegas in February for a medical convention and I'd like to be able to walk to the Las Vegas Convention Center from my room. If you could list the hotels within walking distance of the Convention Center, along with their approximate distances, it would be most helpful.

Las Vegas seems like a good city for renting a bicycle or a moped to get around on. It's flat. The streets are wide and most seem to have sidewalks. There are so many tourists that bike and moped rental agencies must be common. And if so, rental prices must be reasonable. Is this correct?

Would an out-of-state handicapped-parking sticker be legal in Las Vegas?

The "tunnel scam" when taking a taxi from the airport is well known, but there seems to be some confusion as to when it may actually be a good idea. Is it ever?

If something happens to my rental car while in valet parking, am I liable for the damages, since the valet is not technically an authorized driver? Or will the casino/hotel assume responsibility?
