We saw a story in the paper that one in six drivers experiences damage to a rental car and that the average cost of a rental-car accident is around $800. We’d very much appreciate any tips on renting a car in general, and specific to Las Vegas, plus avoiding charges for accidents and inadvertent damage!

We just returned from Las Vegas and were at the Quad for the "Divas" show. That hotel and the parking-entrance is a disaster. I thought you said it was to open as the Linq in November. It looks like a very major rebuild would be needed to open it as anything. What is the real story here?

I get "complimentary" room offers on a regular basis from Strip hotels, but I've found out these "comp" rooms are ANYTHING but FREE, as it seems all the Strip resorts still charge "resort fees" of $25 of more per night, even on the so-called "free" nights. Do all the resorts apply those mandatory surcharges even on "free-room" nights?

Is there any free or cheap parking left in downtown LV? Back in the day, we'd park for free at Union Plaza; more recently at Binion's, but all of the casinos seem to have switched to paid parking.

So, what do you predict the next big craze going to be in Las Vegas after the EDM/nightclub trend wears off? Gentleman’s clubs inside the casinos?
