At times in your "Today’s News" section of your website you report various traffic accidents and road closures. It got me to wonder, since Vegas is a huge travel city, are there any figures on who are involved in the traffic accidents around Vegas or state-wide, in terms of what proportion involves locals and what involves non-Nevada residents? Because there are so many tourists, with their possible lack of knowledge of the roads in the area, it seems that the percentage would involve more non-Nevada residents than locals. Is that the case? I like your QoD the most, but your Today’s News is quite interesting and informational, too.

Two readers respond: "Your 10/24/13 QoD answer says, 'Places like ... Panaca ... have at least one bar with some bartop video poker and slot machines, though no bona fide casino.' The Wikipedia entry for Panaca, NV says, 'It is the only municipality in Nevada to be 'dry' (forbidding the sale of alcoholic beverages), and the only community in Nevada besides Boulder City that prohibits gambling.' If Wiki is right, it sounds as if a Panaca bar with video poker would present a couple of conflicts -- what's the real story?" And: "Doesn't Cal-Nev-Ari have a casino, contrary to what today's QoD says? Not a huge one, but 30+ machines and at least one table."

I heard a story several years ago, maybe it’s an urban legend, that a body was found inside the box springs of a bed in a hotel room. Is this story true? If so, what are the details, like where, when, who, etc.? It sounds like a plot for "CSI". Thanks for the great job you do.

A year or so ago, you reported that for the first time in history, casinos took in more revenue from non-casino sources than from gambling. I just read a report by the American Gaming Association (AGA) that states that ‘more than two-thirds of industry revenue is generated on the casino floor, while the remaining third is generated via the food and beverage, hotel and other lines of business within the commercial casino properties.’ So which is correct? I know that you can make statistics say anything you want, but am I interpreting these two statements wrong?

The current issue of KNPR's Desert Companion magazine contains a feature about well-known TV shows that have a "Las Vegas" episode. I seem to recall that QoD did something very similar way back when and that your list was a lot longer, or am I just imagining that?

How can a person find out what casinos have their favorite slot machines? I know Boyd casinos maintain an online listing and search, but how about others? Also, is there a central listing anywhere for Las Vegas?

On our recent visit (9/7-9/14) we discovered that Station Casinos has a Senior Special for their buffet on Wednesdays. Also, the Silverton has a Senior Special for the buffet on Mondays. When you acquire the 2014 coupons, could you find out what Senior Special each casino offers, and on what day of the week?
