With the popularity of pawn shops on TV, many of them Vegas-based, what can you tell us about the best destinations in Vegas to buy and sell our stuff?

What? The answer to the 7/18 QoD said chips shouldn't be used for tips. I have never seen a cocktail waitress tipped in anything BUT. So, how do they escape the rules regarding not gambling in their places of employment?

I'm headed to Las Vegas in June. Taking lots of cash and traveler's checks has always made me nervous, especially going through security at O'Hare and McCarron's airports. Here's my question: Is there a standard practice that security check-in uses at airports for people who want to hold on to their cash and traveler's checks? I don't want to be physically separated from my money but also don't want to be considered a security risk/cash-smuggling criminal by tucking away the money on my person when going through security checkpoints. Thanks for your help and keep up the excellent QoD work!

We want to hear more about the haunting at the Luxor. You mentioned in a recent QoD that three workers were killed and haunted the barge ride. Thanks guys.

In 2009 there were news stories about James Hackett, a tourist in Las Vegas, disputing thousands of dollars in Amex charges at the Club Paradise topless club. He claimed that he had blacked out and shouldn't be responsible. I figure the guy should have to pay up, and was curious as to how this turned out. Can you let us know how the outcome?

I know this was addressed a while back but could not find it in the archives. Can the remains, i.e., cremated ashes, be spread in Vegas? How about bringing them on the plane? Has anything changed since your last report? Thanks!

With the recent question about indoor pools, you had the link to your list of all pools and listed hours. I see only a couple hotels even have pools open past 5 or 6 p.m. If you can drink and gamble 24/7, why can't you swim 24/7? Especially since most list 'swim at own risk' and/or don't even have lifeguards on duty?

I have always been perplexed about one comfort not afforded at the major resorts in Las Vegas: Is there any reason why with all the millions spent I can not find a major Strip hotel that has an inside pool? You can find massive exotic pools, but none inside. Indoor pools would be nice to have for the moderately hot summers, as well as the late fall and winters.
