Is there any daily return bus trip from Las Vegas to Los Angeles?

We were in Las Vegas last Dec. around Christmas and were disappointed the Strip was not Christmas decorated. In fact, most casinos had no decorations, except Bellagio. Is this the norm or are there some casinos we missed that do decorate?

The M Resort sits like a lonely outpost. Is there anything planned to be built around it?

The water level of Lake Mead is kind of scary, isn't it (QoD 11/11/2010)? If it keeps dropping as drastically as it has been for the past 10 years or so, what can be done to insure Las Vegas's future water supply?

On my Internet homepage today, they listed the 25 most dangerous zipcode areas. It seems three in Las Vegas made the list. Could you please tell me how close they are to the Strip? I never felt uncomfortable walking the Strip, but am a little concerned now. I vacation there once a year. I love the town.

I figure it’s a good time to buy a condo at a hotel in Vegas at a reasonable price. Especially at the Signature at MGM. How does the whole thing work? If I purchase one and own it, does it mean I can live there permanently if I wanted to or is it like a timeshare thing? Also if someone "moves out," does a real-estate agent handle the selling and buying of the condo or is that all done by the property (MGM Grand)?

Did the recent amount of rainfall help raise the water level in lake Mead, or did it just run off and not help at all?

I just read an Associated Press article that said Philadelphia (population 1.55 million) is now the largest city in the U.S. with a casino, surpassing Detroit (population 910,000). What happened to Las Vegas? I thought the population was over one million?

I just had a dear friend pass away. His favorite place to go was Las Vegas. I would like to know if there is some way to honor his memory there? I vaguely recall a past QOD about either buying a brick at the Flamingo or something about a bulb in the Welcome to Las Vegas sign. Can you please help?
