We just bought a vacation condo and was wondering can you get a state ID card in Nevada to show "Local" residence while having a driver's license in your home state? We would like to be able to take advantage of offers for locals.

Deke Castleman's travelogue (QoDs 4/29-30/09) reminded me of a time I drove through a good chunk of northern Arizona and southern Nevada. I remember stopping at a small town that at the time had a some homes, gas station, a couple bar/casinos and most importantly a chamber of commerce or visitor center. After looking at brochures, I asked if anything nearby was worth seeing. The lady suggested, if I wanted to see something unusual and was open-minded (she said many of the local people did not appreciate what was on display), I should go a short drive to the home and workplace of an artist who had moved there and look at the outdoor sculptures. It seems to me there was a large Last Supper made of concrete, and I certainly remember a very large standing painted naked lady made of concrete blocks. Unfortunately I had no camera. Does anyone at Huntington Press know of what I remember?

I've noticed that most of Las Vegas' strip clubs are located away from the Strip. Are any strip clubs located among the main Strip casinos?

You mentioned in your April 28, 2009, QOD that there are current and former employees who retain casino hotel room key card codes. If that is the case, is the room safe a secure place to keep your valuables or are those compromised as well?

On the recommendation of Las Vegas Advisor, my wife and I went to Irene’s to try the breakfast. We opened the door and the cigarette smoke hit us right in the face. We sat down with the intent of eating, but we were overcome by the smoke and left. Please explain how LVA can recommend this establishment, as it is clearly breaking the Nevada Clean Indoor Air Act. I have been to many bars, taverns, and restaurants in Las Vegas and this is the only place I have encountered violating the law. I would think a retraction should be forthcoming.

You had at one time a link that listed all the RV parks and resorts with fees and phone numbers and addresses. Have you updated this list lately and where did you move this list to?. I thought it was under where to stay, but I don't seem to see it there. Have any new ones opened yet? We are coming out for the winter and need to start makeing a reservation soon.

I have submitted my question a couple times. I know you have lots of questions each day. If you don't want to answer my question, please just e-mail me and let me know who I should contact. We come here at least six times a year for a couple weeks at a time. I would like to buy a car instead of renting each time we come. I'm sure I'm not the only one in this situation. Our home is in Aliante so it would be expensive to take a cab each time I come. I'm wondering what people do who are in my same situation.

There have been emails circulating stating that you should never return your hotel card keys because the magnetic strip contains your credit card number and other personal information and with a scanner this information can be retrieved. True or False?

Could you furnish a list of casinos and what company owns them along with the ticker symbol on the stock exchange? I was trying to research a couple and am having a hard time finding this info.
