I've never been to Las Vegas and I'm trying to decide if I should spend some time and money at the top of the Stratosphere Tower. What all is there to do up there?

I read the story about the helicopter trip to the Grand Canyon in the June Advisor and wondered if you know anything about the glass observation platform that's supposedly being built over the canyon. Any inside scoop on this?

We're headed to Las Vegas the 4th of July weekend - we thought it was really hopping there then, but cannot seem to find any details of events on the Internet. In fact, there seem to be less events than normal that weekend. What goes on the weekend of the 4th and will there be fireworks somewhere?

Can you tell me what are the roads in Las Vegas that divide street addresses by north, south, east, and west?

There was a shrine (not sure what kind) at Caesars Palace for years which was donated by someone (duh!) and I think it was supposed to always face east and I think Caesars said they would never move it. Since the huge addition onto the front of Caesars, has the shrine been moved or removed completly? Where did it go? Thanks!
