A Cox Cable commercial right now has a bunch of ladies playing poker. One of them mentions that they are going to play with "one-eyed royals." I've never heard that term. Is it a real, or did one of Cox's "moonmen" make it up?

The TV show "Tanked" is about 2 brothers that build fancy aquariums. One of the episodes showed a gumball aquarium that was supposed to be on the outside verandah at Caesars' Serendipity ice cream parlor. I went to Serendipity 3 in February and June and it's nowhere around. Was it put somewhere else? I realize Feb. is probably too cold for the inhabitants, but the weather was nice in June. They also did an episode on the aquarium at Tropicana's Mob Museum. Do you know if that one is still there? And is the Mob Museum at the Trop now worth seeing?

I love watching movies and TV shows shot in Vegas. I've noticed in the older films that people stood while playing slot machines. Now, almost every slot has a chair. When did this happen? Who started it? How fast did everyone else copy it?

Your April 30 QOD response mentioning "Casino Diaries" got me thinking about Las Vegas-based reality shows. For a while there, it seemed that every cable and network channel had a show ("Las Vegas," "The Defenders," "American Casino," etc.), but now, except for the show about the Las Vegas jail and "CSI," they have all but disappeared. I doubt it's due to a lack of stories available, so was it just overload?

I have read in various Las Vegas history books about how the Mob would bury people in the desert. With all the expansion in the valley over the years, has a Mob buried body ever been unearthed during construction of houses? If so, what part of town was the Mob’s favorite burial ground?

I have a photo (that I can send you) of an ad in Entertainment Weekly for "Pawn Stars". It shows the guys in front of the Four Queens, except it looks like the marquee has been changed to read Four Kings. What's up with that?

Where is the shooting range that the Pawn Star cast go when they want to shoot an old gun they just bought. I live in Las Vegas and would like to know the location of the gun range in the desert they do to.

Fezzik Friday: Nationally syndicated (ESPN) sports-talk radio and TV personality Colin Cowherd has been hot with his football picks thus far this season, and he's made several references to moving the lines in Vegas when he gives out his picks on the air. While I didn't hear it first-hand, I'm told bookmaker Jimmy Vaccaro addressed that, saying something to the effect of "Not only does Cowherd not move the line in Vegas, he doesn't even move it in Bristol" (ESPN is headquartered in Bristol, CT). Cowherd has a big audience. Is his media clout strong enough to have an effect, or is Vaccaro right in suggesting he's full of it?

A while back you stated they were filming or about to film a new Las Vegas movie. Have they filmed it yet? Does it have a name and who is starring in it?

I heard recently that Jerry Lewis is no longer the MDA National Chairman and that he will not appear on the 2011 telethon Labor Day weekend. Will the telethon go on as scheduled from the South Point?
