As recently as this past winter (I think), you could book a Cabana Suite at the Linq on their website. I haven't seen the option for several months no matter how far out I search. Did the Linq get rid of these suites or are they only available for high rollers through hosts now? Or is there a way that the general public can book these rooms?
The reason I'm interested is because I love the pool scene, but I'm always looking for a way to get a great experience without breaking the bank. Based on the old rates I saw, even with the large price premium, it's cheaper to book a Cabana Suite than it is to pay for a cabana (plus you get your own attached room with a/c and bathroom). What would make it even cheaper is if you could drink your own alcoholic drinks if you have a Cabana Suite. Do you know if the Linq allows people in Cabana Suites to BYOB, or are they required to order from a waitress when on their cabana patio?
Gia Selvaggio of Caesars Entertainment, parent of LINQ, replies: “I just looked online and the Deluxe Poolside Cabana rooms are still available for the public to book. If the guest goes to The LINQ Hotel & Casino website, he or she can click the Rooms tab, then the Suites tab on the left of that page to book. The cabana rooms are fourth or fifth down on the list."
Unfortunately, we're bearers of bad news on the BYOB front.
Selvaggio again: “In the cabana rooms specifically, they ask that guests don’t bring their own beverages out to the cabanas, and order from the LINQ beverage services instead. If pool attendants see it, they'll have to come over and ask guests to put their own beverages away.”
