Which Las Vegas casinos have movie theaters attached?
There are no movie theaters at casinos on the Strip proper, but the UA Cinema 8 is very close; it's located at the Showcase Mall next door to the MGM Grand and across the street from New York-New York and Monte Carlo; you can park in the Showcase lot (for a fee) and cross into the mall on the bridge on the fifth floor.
There's an 18-screen AMC theater at Town Square about a mile south of Mandalay Bay.
A state-of-the-art theater is at South Point, farther south on Las Vegas Boulevard, which is home to a Century 16-plex with XD "Extreme Digital Cinema" and often has midnight screenings of new blockbusters.
Just a little ways off the Strip, you'll also find Brendon Theaters, with 14 screens including IMAX, at the Palms on W. Flamingo at Arville.
Slightly farther west and south on W. Tropicana, the Orleans has an 18-screen theater.
Elsewhere around the valley, you'll find that many of the locals casinos have movie theaters: Boulder Station (Regal 11) and Sam's Town (Century 18) out on Boulder Highway; Texas Station (Regal 18) and Santa Fe (Century 16) on N. Rancho; Suncoast (Century 16), Cannery (Galaxy 16), Aliante (Regal 16), and Red Rock (Regal 16 and IMAX) in the far north and west; and in Henderson, Green Valley Ranch (Stadium 10), Sunset Station (Stadium 13 and IMAX), and Fiesta Henderson (Stadium 12).
For something a little different, check out the West-Wind Drive-In (6 screens) at the corner of Rancho and Carey, or catch recent/old movies -- and 3D titles -- for cheap at Regency Tropicana Cinemas (3330 E. Tropicana at Pecos), where admission is $2, except on Tuesdays ($1; 3D $2.50) and for 3D (regularly $3.50).
