Question of the Day - 01 September 2019

Q:
Very interested in playing crapless craps the next time I am in Vegas. Do you know the casinos on and off the Strip and downtown offering crapless craps?
A:

The Strat definitely has it; it was introduced by Bob Stupak at Vegas World back in the day and Stratosphere has continued the long tradition.

We also know that crapless craps is dealt at New York-New York (Monday-Thursday on the swing shift, 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. if it lasts that late, and Friday-Sunday on the day shift too, starting at noon); there's a $5 minimum bet.

Luxor and Excalibur also have one table each. The hours and minimums are the same as New York-New York's.

Harrah's opens its table Wednesday-through Sunday on day and swing shifts.

We also saw on various online lists that MGM Grand and Circus Circus had crapless tables, but we called and they both denied it. If anyone knows of other crapless crap tables in Las Vegas, please let us know in the comment boxes.

For a description of the game, see our Question of the Day from April 2018.

Why would you even ask. As the the QOD of April 2018 why would you even bother to play the game since the house vig is so incredibly high. Just walk on by the game for a regular craps game.

    Harrahs
Really? I’ve never seen it there.

I also have never seen it at the three craps table at the Harrahs.

    why bother?
pat h asks, "why bother...walk on by the game for a regular craps game." that's the question i ask when i see people play bj that pays 6-5! there's still enough games paying 3-2, especially off-strip

    Either Way
I think it's crazy to play either crapless craps or 6-5 BJ. Not that I'm the best at hunting down the best odds in town, but both of these games you're just asking to have your money taken from you by the casino.

    Craps
Harrah’s has 5 tables. 4 in main area and 1 by walkway. None are crapless last time I was there.

I believe the Plaza has one table downtown.

In the forums I tried to start a discussion of cramps in Las Vegas and posted some info but it didn’t really get much postings.
