Question of the Day - 21 February 2019

Q:

Does Las Vegas have any old-fashioned photo labs, doing film processing (E-6, C-41, b&w)?

A:

There might be others, but we know of one: the Photo Shack at 4632 S. Maryland Pkwy #4, a block south of Harmon Avenue across the street from In-N-Out Burger in the heart of the University district.

Photo Shack processes C-41 color negative film for sizes ranging from 110 to 220, along with E-6 slide and black-and-white film from 35mm to 5x7.

They also have a develop-only service — just the negatives without prints or scans.

They also do passport photos, high-resolution scanning of original art, scanning and digitizing of photos and slides, and photo restoration.
