I live in the Chicago area. I also have a gambling problem and there are a number of casinos nearby. I enrolled in Illinois' self-exclusion program and that, along with Gamblers Anonymous, has kept me out of the casinos and out of the action for several years. But now I have to come to Las Vegas for a trade show in October. I'm worried that the temptation is going to be too tempting. So I'd like to know where I can find information about GA meetings in Vegas.
You can access a list of two dozen daily meetings all over the valley (plus, those who are interested can read about the history, philosophy, and recovery program of GA) at the website of Southern Nevada Gamblers Anonymous.
For quick access, here's the link to the meetings page.
And in an emergency, you can call the hotline at (702) 529-0202.
Good luck and please let us know how you make out on your business trip here.
