    It depends on Lady Luck
We play mostly the slots. We have been to Vegas for 15 years and we "plan for $300" in expenses per day. That might include shows, attractions, dining and gambling. (Older people don't "club.") Expensive shows may be charged. Most years we almost break-even here but spend a lot of it in while in Vegas, anyway. This doe not include hotel or airfare. We do not consider ourselves "high rollers by any means.

    $200
$200 a day for meals and gambling. Anything left over carries over to the next day. Meals are cheap with 2 for 1's or comps. Some days we do well and come out ahead. Some days we lose it all. Usually our first $200 is the day we arrive which is a short day and that sets us up for carryover into day 2.

    About $75 each
My wife and I are penny-slot players only. Allot $75 each per day, but usually allow ourselves $100 one day during the trip. Most trips 4-5 days. Can't take much more of Vegas than that anymore.

    Gambling Budget
My husband and I play craps almost exclusively, and we typically go into a game with $300 each, although recently, as it's gotten harder to find $10 minimum tables in Las Vegas, I've occasionally bumped that up to $500. But, we usually make that $300 our daily loss limit for each of us. If the table's not going well, we cash out before we lose it all.

    my budget per day is 500 -1000, 3 night trip I bring 3500. 2 trips a year.
My first trip to Vegas in 1983 I had a 50 per day budget.

    It depends
I completely agree with the others who said the pertinent question is *per day*, not per trip. I usually budget about $500 per day, but I've been known to break the budget too when the video poker gods are not smiling on me!
