Question of the Day - 28 November 2019

Q:

Gratitude for everything.

A:

On this annual day of gratitude, we'd like to give thanks for, well, everything. Even the bad things.

It's not easy to be grateful for everything. But we figure that if it's in the world, it's here for a reason, even if we don't or can't know what that is. Simply stated, gratitude for everything has to come from a deeper or higher source than ourselves.

One of the most astute examples of gratitude for everything we've ever seen is attributed to American astronomer, astrophysicist, and cosmologist Carl Sagan, who said, "To make an apple pie truly from scratch, you must invent the universe."

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. Take it easy on the apple pie.

Gratitude for everything.
