The Vegas Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is slated to become a Virgin property, right? What will happen to all of the celebrity memorabilia?
First question: right. Sir Richard Branson, barefoot and surrounded by showgirls and champagne, announced the purchase of the Hard Rock in March by him and partners.
Nearly giddy with excitement, he said, “I’m still pinching myself!”
Second question: According to Branson, the rock-memorabilia collection is part of the deal. He told Condé Nast Traveler, “I come from the rock ’n’ roll business and the memorabilia comes with the hotel. It’s incredible for me to suddenly have this collection.”
