Question of the Day - 08 April 2025

Q:

A friend of mine is getting married in Las Vegas in a few months. He’s not going to do a wedding ceremony at a hotel, but a bunch of his friends are getting him and his new wife a suite at a hotel for his wedding night. My question is about the hotel limos I see at some Strip hotels (the limos with the hotel logo on them). Are they available for anyone to use or just for high rollers or people doing events at the hotel? We want to surprise the couple by having the hotel limo pull up to take them to their suite after the ceremony. When I search the hotel websites, the only thing I’ve found is about transportation to and from the airport.

A:

Most Las Vegas hotel-casino limousines aren't available for general-public rental in the same way as a traditional limo service. They're primarily reserved for high-rollers and VIPs and hotel guests as part of a special package that includes airport transfers.

That said, your friend and his bride might qualify, since they're staying in a suite, which could raise them into a VIP category.

So the best way to approach this, in our opinion, is to contact the hotel's concierge or guest/VIP services department. Most Las Vegas hotels, especially the high-enders, offer customizable packages for guests. In your case, it's the combination suite and limo ride from the wedding.

Concierges and guest services field these types of requests all day every day from a lot of looky loos. So you need to make it clear that you're ready to book and pay. And pay you will, at a premium, so we suggest you and your friends agree on a budget for the package.

Assuming you haven't selected and booked the hotel yet, you'll have more flexibility. You can call as many as you need until you find the one that will provide the package at the price point you're looking for.

If no one in your group wants to do all the necessary legwork, you can also hire third-party companies that specialize in curating tailored experiences. Just google Las Vegas VIP concierge services.

The mantra is, as always, everything is for sale in Las Vegas, as long you know where to look and how to go about buying it, and are prepared to whip out the credit card to pay the freight.

    Caesars
On a Caesars seven star trip I returned my Sixt rental car and was looking for my logoed Caesars limo to get to the casino. A couple of limousines in the lot but no logo. I approached one driver and he was my driver in a plain wrapper limo. He explained that Caesar’s often uses different agencies for limo rides. If you want a logo you should specify for one. Wasn’t a big deal to me but I’d still be waiting for my ride if I were looking for Caesar’s head and laurel logo.
